Yasmine Askari is a Pakistani-American filmmaker and journalist who wanders between Brooklyn and Baltimore. Her work explores themes of time, transformation, and the highs and lows of human relationships through a dreamlike lens.

Beyond her narrative filmmaking, Yasmine has reported for local newsrooms across the country, including the Texas Observer, MinnPost, and the Baltimore Sun.
