Rebbecca Israel is a NY Emmy-nominated documentary filmmaker committed to telling small, thoughtful stories that represent big ideas. Throughout her career, she focuses on exploring what "success" means in different cultures and how these perspectives appear in education around the world. Her work has been featured on HBO, PBS, Sundance Channel, Comedy Central, and NBC Universal. She is currently in post-production on her first feature documentary about infant adoption and family preservation in America. Rebecca is a midwesty at heart, currently based in Brooklyn, and works abroad often.
