Margaret Broach
Writer, Director
Writer/Director, Margaret Broach, attributes her love for storytelling to growing up in a large, military family. There were always stories to hear, adventures to share, plenty of siblings to annoy, and parents who did their best to teach her about the history and culture of every place they’d called home.
Broach has entered into competitions and 48-hour film scrambles in Mobile, Alabama, winning awards for her work, including “Best Screenplay” for “Night Terror” at the ArtsAlive! Festival, and First Place with co-producer Kristen Ryan for “Out-Touching Cancer,” at Birmingham’s Sidewalk Chalk Film Festival.
In 2016, she received an MFA in Film Production at the University of New Orleans, and graduated with an award-winning thesis film, “Down to the Last.” She’s since transplanted to the Crescent City and has worked on other productions which you can find on IMDb here: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm2241435/
