LEAH ELIZABETH EVANS
Writer
Leah Elizabeth Evans is a NYC-based screenwriter and improviser who has been performing since she was eight. After producing a sold-out show with R.L. Stine (yes, that R.L. Stine), Leah founded an accessibility-focused comedy theater now celebrating its tenth anniversary. The theater eliminates financial barriers, so talent and kindness are the only requirements for entry.
Leah pivoted to screenwriting during the pandemic, completing several features and musicals in 24-hour sprints.
As an adoptee and anxiety-ridden millennial, Leah writes high-concept ensemble stories focused on the universal need for connection. She uses a comedic lens to explore characters who just want to be seen and heard... or women who are trying to survive (sometimes literally!).
