Katie Turinski is a New York City–based filmmaker and editor whose work spans nearly two decades across documentary and commercial storytelling. Her editing credits include the Oscars®-shortlisted The Speed Cubers (Netflix), multiple Super Bowl campaigns, and the award-winning feature documentary JessZilla.
As a director, Turinski is drawn to character-driven stories rooted in inclusivity, courage, and humor. She is currently in production on a short featuring a differently-abled drum line advocating for integrated music education. Her feature documentary Sissyboy (SXSW) follows an alternative drag performance art troupe redefining gender through bold, socially charged work, and her award-winning short Sock Guys profiles a young entrepreneur with Down syndrome whose online sock store became a platform for disability advocacy.
Turinski is a Partner at boutique post-production company Exile, serving clients including Facebook, Google, Nike, Coca-Cola, and Delta, and is passionate about mentorship for emerging editors.
