Dan Hirshon is a writer and animator who enjoys telling stories about the epic battles we face on a day to day basis with the thoughts in our head while attempting to accomplish simple tasks like go to the gym, grocery shop at Trader Joe's, or write a Filmshop bio. His short film, “Dan’s Demons,” which he wrote, voiced, and animated, debuted at NYC Webfest and depicts Dan’s confrontations with his internal voices of self-doubt following a breakup several years ago.
Dan first developed his comedic style as a stand-up, entertaining audiences from Bangor, Maine to Cape Town, South Africa. He has since adapted his self-deprecating anecdotes into sketches, pilots, and narrative comedy albums and his work has been featured at the New York Television Festival, Friars Club Comedy Film Festival, Fusion TV, Adweek, and Sirius Radio. He has also brought his strong sense of timing and storytelling to films for such companies as CNN, Google, and New Balance.
