TRISH PICKELHAUPT

Trisha Pickelhaupt is a filmmaker originally from Buffalo, New York now based in NYC. A graduate of RIT’s photography program, she is a visual thinker with a love for authenticity and finding meaning in the unexpected. She currently works as a freelance director, DP, editor and producer for documentary and commercial projects. Her short film “I Like Your Hair” was premiered nationally by NPR and screened at the Bronx Documentary Center. She is currently working on writing a script for her first narrative short. As an active member of Filmshop and Video Consortium, Trisha seeks to promote creative community-building in NYC and beyond. She is deeply interested in exploring depictions of adolescence and nostalgia in her work.
