Filmshop NOLA meets for two workshop seasons per year, spring (March-May) and fall (September-November). Exact fall season start date TBA.

Meetings are currently scheduled on Thursday evenings 7-9, at The Blue House (1700 S Rampart St) in Central City.   

Before you apply, please note:

  • We ask that you be actively working on a project you’d like to workshop with the group. (Questions about what this means? See the Current Work section of the application below, or read more here.)
  • Dues for the season are $75. Financial aid is available and can be requested below.
  • Filmshop members are expected to attend the majority of their chapter's meetings. 
  • Applicants will be notified by Monday, February 19.

Workshop dues are $75 for the season, but we don't want concerns about money to keep you from applying. If you're unemployed or underemployed, we can offer a few slots at a discount. If you are interested in applying for discounted fees, please let us know here.
