Siobhán Gilbert is a playwright and screenwriter. Her horror feature DARK WORK is being produced by Synchronized Films and scheduled to shoot in the spring of 2022. Her horror feature MOUTHFEEL is in development with Futuregraph Entertainment and with Kevin Morales attached to direct. Her period horror feature about Germ Theory called THE MADDENING FILTH made the 2017 Bloodlist.
Her plays have been produced in off-Broadway houses like Dixon Place and HERE Arts Center. Her theatrical work has been developed around the country from New York to Alaska. She has been an artist in residence working on plays and screenplays in the Tyrone Guthrie Center in Ireland, AiR Guiniguada in Gran Canaria, Forge in CT, and Arts, Letters, and Numbers in New York.
As a writer with both Irish and US citizenship, she splits her time between American and Irish collaborators. She received her MFA in Dramatic Writing from NYU with a full-tuition fellowship.
