Mtume is Director/Actor/Writer hailing from New York. As a Filmmaker his films have screened in festivals such as Aspen Shortsfest, Cucalorus and Ashland Independent Film Festival with numerous awards for his projects. As an Actor he was a cast member of the hit TV series OZ and is a graduate of prestigious Acting Conservatory at Purchase College, which is also where he is currently a faculty member in the Film Conservatory.
He is currently gearing up to direct two projects in 2020, a short film entitled Alter/Destiny and his first feature length entitled I Don't Live Today
