Joe Garrity is a writer/director and editor of narrative, documentary, and audiovisual projects. His short film TWINSBURG, a dramatic comedy set at a Midwestern twin convention, screened internationally at 45 film festivals and won 9 top awards. He was Lead Editor and Assistant Director of WATERGATE, a six-part documentary series by Charles Ferguson for A&E/History.
Joe directed and edited the official music video for ALVVAYS - IN UNDERTOW, and he designed live visuals for the Toronto band’s 2017-18 Antisocialites tour, as well as for the Brooklyn band Crumb’s 2019 Jinx tour, in North America and the U.K. Currently he is pursuing a master’s degree in screenwriting at UC Riverside-Palm Desert in the Low Residency MFA program.
