In 2006, Meriwether founded Leave It Better Media, a company driven by these questions: What can we collectively do to heal our environment, to leave our communities better for those who follow? What will our legacy be?
Meriwether directed LIBM’s first feature- American Meat- a pro-farmer look at the grass-fed local food movement.
Meriwether directed LIBM’s second feature- Farmers For America , a mosaic of young farmers who are attempting the virtuous and vital task of feeding us.
LIBM currently has two new feature films in production. 75 Park: e pluribus unum, a journey of self-discovery centered around one man’s relationship with his neighborhood park- directed by Everette Hamlette. Meriwether is a producer, writer and executive producer on the project. Meriwether is directing his third feature- Who Will Feed Us? tackling the global challenges of feeding a growing population. Both films are set for release in the early 20’s.
Meriwether is also the founder and catalyst at Leave It Better Foundation, which dedicates its work to youth-led healing.
