Dorothy Xiao is a Los Angeles based narrative filmmaker who seeks to inspire empathy and build cross cultural connections through her work. Her experiences as a second generation Chinese American growing up in a multicultural neighborhood drive her to create thoughtful and honest stories, showcasing the vulnerability, universality, and strength of the human condition.
Dorothy is an avid supporter of empowering underrepresented voices in media, and is working on developing various film projects while trying not to drink too much boba milk tea.
