Born in Sydney, but living in NYC, Alex's short films Kiss, Ari, Frail and Snow have screened at 100 film festivals worldwide, including Berlinale, Toronto and Sydney Film Festivals. Together they have close to 7 million online views. He is a winner of the Lexus Australia Short Film Fellowship and a semi finalist of the Academy Nicholl Screenwriting Fellowship for his feature script Walking in Iowa.
Alex has provided script coverage for Killer Films and was a director attachment to Oscar Nominated director Bruce Beresford. Alex teaches screenwriting and directing at various institutions and is currently developing a new feature film script which he hopes will move into production.
