TRACY L. NORWOOD

Tracy L. Norwood is a New Orleans-based actor and filmmaker. She has a BFA in Acting from Long Island University and an MFA in Film Production from the University of New Orleans. She is a proud member of AEA and is SAG-E. While she's worked in almost every film department, her talents are screenwriting and directing. She's also a cinematographer and, even though she's not active in the camera department, she's *still* a cam girl at heart capturing BTS and set stills. Currently, she's writing two feature films.
She loves giving voices to strong yet fragile female characters. For the Filmshop Spring 2026 cycle, she will be workshopping AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MORTICIAN, a biting reality show satire of life behind-the-scenes in reality TV. She's worked at New Orleans Video Access Center (NOVAC) as the Communications Manager for almost four years where she helps empower our community storytellers.
