TRACY L. NORWOOD

Tracy L. Norwood, a proud member of AEA and is SAG-E and an award-nominated actor, lives in New Orleans and works at the New Orleans Video Access Center (NOVAC) as the Communications + Engagement Manager with a mighty team empowering storytellers.
She has a BFA in Acting from Long Island University and an MFA in Film Production from University of New Orleans. While having worked in almost every film department, her talents are acting and screenwriting. Also a true Camgirl at heart, you can also spot her taking set stills and occasionally being a cinematographer.
She loves giving voices to strong yet fragile female-identifying characters. For the Fall 2026 season, she will focus her attention on RUTH HATHAWAY: a haunting story about an actress and the sacrifices she must make for her newborn child. This is the feature script of her MFA thesis short film THE BLANKET OF THE DARK.
