TERESA LU
Writer, Director
Teresa Lu is a writer-director based in New York City. She has a BFA in Film from the School of Visual Arts. Her short film "b00" won awards nationwide including Best Director at the 30Under30 Film Festival. She is collaborating with producers of "Hereditary" and "Midsommar" on an upcoming horror feature film. She also works as a freelance script doctor and consultant.
Teresa’s work is inspired by the genres of psychological horror and dark drama. Her stories focus on themes surrounding immigration, hereditary trauma, and supernatural folklore. She believes in the power of intelligent storytelling to subvert and heal.
