SARAH AHERN

Sarah Ahern is a screenwriter, and film festival programmer & producer. Originally from Dublin, Sarah has an MA in Screenwriting at the National Film School IADT Ireland, for which she has won a Warner Bros Creative Talent Scholarship and received a First Class Honours degree. She previously graduated from National College of Art and Design, Ireland with a B.Des in Visual Communication.

Sarah has worked in film & TV Production, has at 6 years of film festival experience between Tribeca Film Festival and Dublin International Film Festival and has been invited onto festival juries internationally. Sarah’s short film Caught screened at Cork Film Festival, she produced 4 shorts for a comedy sketch group called The Lads and has written and produced 3 short form plays: Elephant, Franken 20 and Search. Sarah’s short film Too Slow, was shortlisted for the 2019 Virgin Media Short Film Fund. Sarah’s first written feature film Let Them In is currently seeking development.
