Rosie duPont is a writer/producer/performer. By day, she is Script Coordinator for Butterbean’s Café and Bubble Guppies, animated preschool television shows at Nickelodeon. By night, she works on original material for stage and screen.
Most recently, her children’s puppet music video, "A Reptile Repents," screened at several film festivals around the US, including the 2018 Children’s Film Festival Seattle, and the REDCAT Int’l. Children’s Film Festival, 2018. Her short film, “Headspace,” was an Official Selection of the International Film Festival of Cinematic Arts, Los Angeles, 2014, and her animated short film “Obduro!” was an official selection of Scene: Brooklyn, 2012. Based on the strength of her work as a writer/producer, she was awarded the Jacob Burns Emerging Artist Fellowship and Residency, 2013.
Courage, curiosity, and compassion are the foundational principles of her artistic practice.
