Nim Shapira is a Brooklyn-based filmmaker working across documentary and hybrid forms to explore memory, empathy, and contested histories. His work has screened at Tribeca, SIGGRAPH, Slamdance, and TED. He is a former fellow at the MIT Open Documentary Lab and a member of NEW INC. His debut feature TORN was broadcast nationally on PBS/WNET and distributed internationally by PBS Distribution.
