Nancy Ma is an actor and writer who grew up in Chinatown New York. Her solo show, "Home", produced by The Latino Theater Company, is a raw interrogation of belonging. It has been performed at schools and festivals around the country. In theater and film, Nancy’s work focuses on generational trauma & healing, straddling cultures, and imagining hope in dreary spaces.
She is currently developing a half hour comedy about immigrants in 1990s Chinatown, a short film titled “Sweatshop Melody”, and a feature inspired by American revolutionaries Grace Lee Boggs & James Boggs. She received her BA from Williams College.
