LARS FUCHS

Producer, Director, Editor

Danish-born filmmaker Lars Fuchs came to the United States as an infant and has made New York City his home ever since. He was irredeemably lost to film at Cornell University, where an intro film course tempted him away from computer science.

He has almost thirty years’ experience as a film and television editor, including many years in Europe and Asia. U.S. credits include the documentary "New York Street Games", the series “Guide House: Montauk” for ESPN, “While You Were Out”, for which Lars was Emmy-nominated. His short doc, “i live In Life” has won several awards.

He co-directed the award-winning documentary “Food City: The Feast Of The Five Boroughs” about food that's farmed, fished, or foraged from within New York City.
