Kamillah is a Colombian-American, native New Yorker, salsa dancer, special education teacher and documentarian. She started her film journey with DCTV's youth filmmaking program and has recently re-entered the world of film. She is the director of Género: Salsa, a documentary about gender expression in the salsa dancing community of Cali, Colombia
