Jennifer Patterson is a writer, producer, and creative executive whose career bridges storytelling and strategy. With over a decade supporting top executives at companies including Blumhouse Television, Echo Lake Entertainment, Valhalla Entertainment, Blitz Films, and Creative Artists Agency, she has contributed to high-profile projects such as Scarpetta, The Bondsman, The Horror of Dolores Roach, The Sticky, The Walking Dead Universe, The Great, Bright, Law Abiding Citizen, and Blumhouse’s MGM+ streaming features. As a writer, she gravitates toward sci-fi, horror, speculative, dystopian, and character-driven drama. Her pilot My Flesh and Blood and other projects have earned recognition in leading competitions and festivals, including Quarterfinalist placements in the Script2Comic Contest, ScreenCraft Screenwriting Fellowship, Shore Scripts One-Hour TV Pilot Contest, Outstanding Screenplays TV Pilot Competition, and the Creative World Awards, as well as an Official Selection at HorrOrigins. She was recognized across several of these competitions, affirming a distinctive voice that blends sharp character work with bold, imaginative worlds.
She has scripted projects ranging from dystopian sagas to intimate dramas, always with an eye toward challenging convention. Balancing creative vision with executive insight, Jennifer brings both artistry and industry acumen to every project she pursues. She is a member of Film Independent, Women in Film, and HRTS Associates, and previously served as a board member of JHRTS. She holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Film & Television and English from Pennsylvania State University.
