Henry Kinder is a filmmaker from Berkeley, CA, working in Brooklyn, NY. His work seeks to explore the messy ways in which humans rub up against their environments. His recent documentary Desert Mourning, explores the love three very different individuals have for a shared, contested landscape in southern Utah. The film premiered at the Mountainfilm festival, and went on to play festivals across the country. He is also a creative producer at People’s TV, working on video campaigns for leading progressive causes like Black Lives Matter and the Sunrise Movement
He graduated from Wesleyan University with a BA in film studies and a writing certificate.
