As an activist, writer, and filmmaker, David celebrates the Asian American diaspora through social impact entertainment. Through narrative storytelling and grassroots organization, his development in educational media preserves Asian American history while enlightening the public of little-known historical figures.
As a Japanese-American, David's family history of mass incarceration during WWII drives his passion to discuss the social impact of change-making Asian activists who fought for justice, equality, and freedom from oppression.
