Actor, Writer, Director

Chris Loar is a two-time Drama Desk Award Nominated actor, writer, director, DJ / beat maker, filmmaker, comedian and Yoga teacher based in Brooklyn. He's an alumnus of The New York Neo-Futurists and from 2009-2017 appeared regularly in their long running show "Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind (30 Plays in 60 Minutes.)"

He created and directed the hit Off-Off Broadway Shows "The Complete & Condensed Stage Directions of Eugene O'Neill, Volumes 1 and 2" which received national and international tours as well as Critic's Picks from the New York Times. He is also a member of Lincoln Center Theater Directors Lab.

He plays on the Indy Improv team "Dad's New Girlfriend," does stand-up all over town and makes short films and other content for his youtube channel "Work From Home." His work explores the union of the absurd and the mystical.
