Casey is aproducer, director, writer and social media wiz, Casey loves to contribute to art in anyway, shape or form. She has produced over thirteen films in the past four years and her directorial debut film Carl is making it’s festival run.
Carl is based off the true story of her father, Carl Denaro, who was shot and survived the infamous ‘Son of Sam’ shootings in 1976. She just received a National Board of Review Grant and the New York Women in Film & Television Emerging Female Filmmaker Award in 2017. She loves The Office and anything cotton candy flavored. If Martin Scorsese and the Duplass Brothers had a love child it would be her.
