C. A. Munn

C. A. Munn is a New Orleans-based writer, filmmaker, and theater-maker. They are a co-founder of the “Let’s Make a Scene!” New Orleans film collective and have written and directed several short films and proofs-of-concept, including the drama “En Famille,” the sci-fi comedy “Cut Loose,” and feature slasher/thriller “Pressure Drop” (in development). They received their M.F.A. in playwriting from the University of New Orleans’ Creative Writing Workshop in 2022.
Their plays have been produced and read at numerous theater festivals, reading series, and theater conferences in the Gulf South and Midwest. For their poetry and fiction, Munn has won or placed in multiple contests, including the American Short Fiction Halifax Ranch Prize, and is a Pushcart nominee. Their work can be found on the Ploughshares Blog and in Screen Door Review, Peauxdunque Review, and numerous other journals and anthologies.
