BREANNA PERERA
Writer, Producer, Editor
Born and raised in Los Alamos, New Mexico, Breanna began working at the town's Public Access TV station as a sophomore in high school through her senior year in college. She also worked at the town's local movie theater during summers while pursuing her BA in Film from the College of Santa Fe (graduating in May 2008, along with notable classmates such as Ari Aster).
Breanna has worked on several major motion pictures and television shows in New Mexico (she even was Background in a pivotal Denny's scene with Bryan Cranston on "Breaking Bad"). She enjoys all aspects of Production, but especially loves screenwriting, collaboration, and project creation. Recently, Breanna is now a Fellow with Fwd-Doc's/Docs in Progress's Disabled Documentary Filmmaker's Online Fellowship, is a volunteer Ambassador with New Mexico's EDD Creative Industries Division, is a member of NMWIF, and volunteers when she can with the Santa Fe International Film Festival. She also occasionally sleeps.
