Alisha is a filmmaker originally from Fayetteville, Arkansas. She is a graduate of NYU Tisch. She enjoys both narrative fiction & documentary and the strange magic that happens when you mix the two.
Her short documentary on her mixed-race identity won the first Sundance Collab challenge last year. She is currently working on an at-home performance series with musician Beccs and a docu-series profiling those of the South Asian diaspora. Her recently directed comedy short "The Drop Off" is nearly finished and she will be working on a narrative fiction short film script with Film Shop. She is also a member of Kalakars, a South Asian filmmaker & actor collective.
