TANMAYA SHEKHAR

Director / Writer

 Tanmaya Shekhar is a filmmaker based out of Brooklyn. A native of India, he graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur, India with a Master's in Economics. After working with a consulting company for a year, he switched to filmmaking. He's written, directed and produced a number of award winning narrative shorts.

He is the writer/producer of a feature length documentary Farmers for America, currently screening in film festivals. He is currently developing an adult animated series, The Grand Tammy, which explores the themes of corporate greed vs liberal activism, and living in a changed-climate world.
