Shannon Sipher is a southern Louisiana science fiction writer whose stories center around good and bad futures. She's obsessed with how humanity contributes to both and is working on making sure only the good futures come true. Shannon has a MFA in Fiction Writing from Columbia College Chicago.
She recently expanded her storytelling from novel and short story writing to screenwriting. Her experiences growing up in Southern Louisiana inspires most of her story sensibilities. Shannon calls this approach militarized magic realism.
