After dropping out of film school, Paul moved to NYC to pursue his loves of film and theater. In the first few years he found work making videos for the Broadway/Off-Broadway communities. He also made some short narratives, docs, and music videos. Paul later took on a full-time position as the Director of Photography for a popular parenting website that wanted to create a full-fledged studio which would churn out a cornucopia of content weekly; everything from how-to vids to branded content and narrative series. Paul went from a 1-man-band guerrilla-filmmaker to a seasoned-cinematographer with large crews and even larger budgets.
After DP'ing a short film in LA with some friends in 2019, Paul was officially weary of the full-time "mom'tent" creation, so he decided to shake things up by driving West to see what life in LA was all about!
