Producer, Director, Editor
Jenny is a documentary filmmaker passionate about feminism and social justice. She recently completed a documentary fellowship for BRIC’s Brooklyn Free Speech during which she made Pierre Andre Simmons, a short documentary named after its subject – a musician in Bushwick who’s traded a 9-to-5 job for the grueling work of collecting cans and bottles for a living all for the chance to preserve his freedom and creativity. Jenny also recently traded a 9-to-5 lifestyle after a decade of working at tech startups like TED and Skillshare to pursue her dream of being a filmmaker. Her favorite part about documentary filmmaking is having the honor of telling other people’s stories. Being her own boss isn’t too bad either.
