Director / Producer / Writer
As a former middle school teacher, Elizabeth Rodd made the leap into documentary filmmaking with the goal of bringing an educator’s eye to the industry and of creating real-life portraits of school communities grappling with complex social and political issues.
Today, as the Director of Learning for bigthink.com, she is in charge of coaching some of the world's top business leaders, thinkers and innovators in the delivery of engaging and actionable video lessons. Elizabeth spent several years as a Digital Video Teaching Artist for Urban Arts Partnership. Her work with children has been featured at Tribeca Film Institute, the Los Angeles Film Festival, and the National Film Festival for Talented Youth.
Elizabeth is developing a cycle of narrative shorts for children through her production company, LMNOP Films. She is about to launch her first Kickstarter campaign, and is absolutely terrified.
