By day, Carolyn Maher is a producer for One Glass Video. By night, still a producer, but also writer, director and stop motion animator.
Carolyn first cut her teeth in the industry working for the Cucalorus Film Festival while completing her degree in Film Studies at UNC Wilmington. Carolyn remains a perennial Cucalorus cohort and the festival's Lounge Queen. Since moving to New York City, Carolyn has produced a range of projects, including the feature documentary Trichster.
Grounded in the belief that visual storytelling is vital to how we communicate, she aims to make films that generate empathy, broaden our individual understanding of our world and encourage independent thinking and discussion.
Carolyn spends much of her time watching short films and expounding on the virtues of porches. The Maher family motto is “in periculis audax” which means bold in danger.
